The Harbor (www.okiharbor.com) serves 120 service men and women who are stationed in Okinawa, Japan. During the month of August, they organized events to raise awareness and money for the work of IJM taking a stand for the oppressed around the world. Today we received of letters asking their Congress people in the U.S. to be aware of the “least of these” when they vote in Congress. They also sent in a check for over $26,000. This is just one testimony of how churches across the world are engaging this work. For more information on how churches can get involved, e-mail churches@ijm.org.
